OHS Chamber Choir and Requiem - January 30, 2010
OHS Chamber Choir
Sings Mozart's Requiem
with Mack Wilberg
January 30, 2010
Honor choirs from Alpine School District combined to perform Mozart's Requiem. Mack Wilberg is the conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and he was the conductor for the Requiem performance. The students learned the music with their own choirs, and then the day before the performance they had a combined rehearsal with Mack Wilberg. They met again the next morning to continue their practice together. That evening the concert was held in the Provo Tabernacle. It was an awesome performance with the great high school choirs. It was a great experience for the high school students to work with such a great conductor and master of music and to experience learning and performing a great classical piece from a great historical composer.
