Fathers Day 2009
Last Sunday (June 21, 2009) was Fathers Day. Saturday night Ray and I along with Lisa and Jim planned a picnic at Scera Park followed by going to the play at the Scera Shell "Beauty and The Beast" for our dad, Harold Little, for Fathers Day. Due to very wet weather the plans were drastically changed. It ended up being a picnic in Lisa's house with no play. We had sloppy joe's, fruit, pasta salad, lettuce salad, chips with cookies for dessert. Emily was the only one of our kids that was able to come. It was fun to celebrate with my dad - he is usually out of town.
We celebrated with the Walker family on Sunday at Weber and Ann's house in Alpine. We had the traditional Walker family pot-luck with everyone bring their own meat or main course and then also bring a salad and dessert to share. It was good to get together with as many of the family as could attend, because we don't know how many more holiday's grandpa Walker will attend, since he is now 92 years old.

We also enjoyed celebrating Father's Day with Ray. He is such a great husband, dad and grandpa. We all really love him and I really appreciate him. I hope he knows that!

Wow, two blog updates. You must be getting bored or something. I liked the diaper cake, although I would have rather have seen it in person. Oh well, I knew that was not bound to happen.
