Part 2
Trooper's at Corps Encore
At Weber State University
In Ogden, Utah
July 8, 2009
Shaun's Trooper Hat and Trumpet
After I left Trooper's practice in Hyrum, Utah I went to Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and waited for Shaun and the Trooper's to show up. It was not long when the busses were spotted.
Trooper's had quite a few fans waiting for their arrival to welcome them to Corps Encore in Ogden.
After the Trooper's had their uniforms on and everything prepared for their competition, they found a shady place and warmed up.
Shaun is looking forward.
Next was drills.
Shaun is in the front row 4th from the left.
The hats, coats, instruments and water jugs are all set nicely in a row waiting for warm up's to end.
Shaun's hat, coat, trumpet, and water jug are first in the row.
Now it is time for warm-ups with all the brass instruments in a circle.
Shaun is in the center.
The Trooper fans were invited to sit in the middle of the circle to listen to warm-ups. A lot of members of Orem High School's marching band came to watch the competition and to cheer Shaun and Anastasia to victory. They are sitting in the circle to listen. Scott is conducting.
Some of the family came too to support Shaun at this competition.
Shaun's sister-in-law Brittania, nephew Braxton and brother Ryan, I love the shirts!

Shaun was very surprised and happy that family came to support him.
Troopers enter the field.
Trooper's show "Western Side Story"
Shaun is kneeling on about the 27 yard line.
Dana (mom) who got really sunburned by staying out in the sun all day after spending the summer so far inside of her air-conditioned office away from the sun, Ray (dad) and Shaun's nephew Braxton. Fan of Shaun all the way!
Troopers came in 5th place with a score of 75.7. They are shooting for at least the top 12 so they can attend finals in Indianapolis, Indiana, and they are on their way to do that.
