Connect Pass
Snowbird Tram
August 6, 2009
Heidi worked her "good deal" magic again and found Salt Lake City Connect Pass with a buy 1 day and get the 2nd day free. This is a pass that lets you into many Salt Lake City area tourist attractions. Since Heidi and Scott are in Utah on vacation they wanted to do some fun things while they are here so we decided to get a 2 day Connect Pass. It has a lot of fun things to choose from to do and you can do as many of them as you can fit into the number of consecutive days that are purchased- the entry fee to each attraction is just the price of the card. It also includes a dinner at the Lion House Pantry. We figured that if you used the dinner and 1 1/2 more activities that it would more than give you the value of the card. Everything else you do is a bonus.
Our first activity was to go up to Snowbird Ski Resort in Little Cottonwood Canyon and ride the tram to the top. It was faster than I thought it would be. We went to the top where a lot of the ski runs start and had about 25 minutes (or longer for those who wanted to hike) to look around at the view.
